An update has been requested once again, so here I go.

I definitely need to start doing some more interesting things so I can have fun stuff to write about.  Full-time jobs with mandatory overtime are not fun, but I'll see if I can make a quick update since it was asked.  I could just ramble a bit about nothing at all, because I think I might be pretty good at that.  I went to the rehearsal for the Christmas program that we're doing for Church this year...I wonder if they're planning to do the same for next year too, but this one's the second time around.  People do like tradition around Christmas time and I think people had alot of fun with it and alot of people came last year.

I gotta find myself a Great Depression hat, though...And I'm definitely liking the fact that our choreography doesn't involve any footwork this year, because we didn't really have room for it and we didn't really have all the steps quite right last year, but it was definitely cool.  This year we get to play with props.  A newspaper and a hat, at least.  So yeah...I like props better than too much movement if I'm having to sing at the same time.  I do like the song and dance thing...but minus the dance part.

I'm thinking about rejoining choir, too.  I'm just not sure if I have the time that I'd want to have.  Sometimes I'd have to work wednesday nights or sunday mornings, which really sucks.  Maybe I should just find a new job or go back to school and start racking up lotsa debt or something cool like that.  I'd be having more fun, anyway.  I dunno.  I'm planning to take some classes at HACC for next year while I'm working and eventually try to get myself in to Millersville to do some type of musicky thing.

So, I've update two months in a row now.  I might need some reminding in December, because I always forget about Xanga and doubt that anyone would read, anyway.

Title?

Mm, May 28th was quite awhile ago and that wasn't even a real entry.  Just random lyrics.  A cool chick let me know that I was way overdue for an update, so I'll try my best.  I'm pretty much just working all the time, but I'm starting to talk about going back to school and such...I haven't seriously looked at anything, but I'm thinking a could take courses at HACC and get into Millersville to become a music/choir teacher.  I think that'd be something I have fun with, because working for a living would suck.  It's just so boring.  The same things over and over, really.  Well, this past month or so, they've been training me in assistant machine operator type things...And I'm like...'Oh, that's called an adjustable wrench, eh?'  So yeah...this is basically my first time with tools in my hands, but they're telling me that I'm picking everything up really quick.  So that's fun for now.  Learning new things is nice when you get paid for doing it.

I went to New York for the first time awhile back...  Not sure on dates, but sometime this summer my aunt/uncle/cousins visited from Iowa for about a week and I tagged along with them to New York on one of my weekends off.  Then in August, we drove to Iowa for the State Fair.  Lotsa stuff to look at and food to eat and shows to watch and rides to ride.  I don't think there's any fair around here that could compare, really, because it's a huge thing there.  So that was fun, but it was two months ago...

I joined our Lititz Community Center the other day.  I got my whole family to sign up to, so now we can go and play around on the treadmills and in the pool and stuff.  Work is boring and I'm working every night and every other weekend...so I get 2/14 days off work.  It's around 1:30 pm right now and I gotta leave around 10:30, so I should be sleeping soonish, really.

Well, that's good enough for now.  See you in another 5 months.    ...Naw, I might update sooner than that.

Daring Daylight Escape

Just a nice little Caedmon's Call song I was listening to in my car.

If I may pose a question, it'll only take a second
'Cause I know that it's getting late
And depending on your answer I might have the mind to make
a daring daylight escape
Because it's either high time to make you mine
Or I swear it's time to get outta town
So please say "yes" quick, 'cause the sun's going down

You can read all about it
About boy meets a girl and then screws the whole thing up
Just like always

It's so hot.  Not cool to sleep during the day...

Don't you hate that dream where your alarm's going off...but you just can't seem to turn it off?  And then I tried to turn the light on...but it was burnt out.  Heheh.
